AMAC CHAIRMAN AND ONE AMONGST HIS WHITE ELEPHANT PROJECT

I never hesitate to praise or condemn politicians because I honestly believe that we have to keep track of leaders and ask them how they govern us. This is why I won't hesitate to write that I publicly, unreservedly and sincerely condemn one of Hon. Abdulahi Adamu white elephant project situated at karu ward of Abuja Municipal Area Council.

What appear from afar to be real is not actually real when one comes close and carefully scrutinize it genuiness. In the first coming of Hon. Abdullahi Candido, we saw how his tenure was characterize with make-believe projects.

As events unfold most of these projects cannot stand the test of time. And it is only the truth that can stand the test of time.

Among one of the white elephant projects is that of the skill acquisation centre (Yamaho Skill Acquisation Centre). As things stand now, the Skill acquisation centre is practically unworkable. Ever since putting this structure in place, how many youths in Karu can beat their chest and say "I have learnt a thing from the center"?

If the essence of putting in place the skill acquisation centre was to assist the youths in ensuring that they are engaged in self reliant, I wonder why has it not been effective?

With millions of Naira inflated to put the structure on ground yet the Skill acquisation is not well furnished. No lights, seat, no security just a mere hall.Thus, the skill acquisation centre is now a resting place for gamblers, itinerant and storage house for kiosk owners.

The truth is that the skill acquisation centre ought to be a means to an end. Sadly, it is an end in itself. If the skill acquisation centre had been well furnished and workable, it would have go a long way in curbing social vices amongst the youths.

So many paid e-social media warriors were singing and praising while the project is going on but none is there to evaluate and post the workability of the project.

I want to seize this very opportunity to draw the attention of the Chairman to look into the above subject matter and act with immediate effect before it causes more harm than good.

Danuwanka matashi yau Allah na iya bashi dama ya taimakeka kokai Allah yabaka damar ka taimakeshi, Inhar ko muka tsaya bisa wannan mumunar alqiblar babu ranar da zamuga cigaba wadancan din dai sune da yayansu zasu cigaba mulkarmu da azabtar damu saboda babu da akida tunani da manufa atare damu.

Yakamata hankulan mu sudawo jikin mu, Mugane kanmu muke tarwatsawa da yakar junan mu wallahi kada mubiyema wadannan da wannan kazamar siyasar ta cigaba da tarwatsawa mana rayuwa.

Ita kuma Gwamnati a tsarin ta, tana bukatar shaida don tabbatar da kana kasuwanci ko sana'a. In rance za a bada ko tallafi, wanda zayyi approving din rancen ko tallafin yana Lagos ko Abuja, bai san ka ba, bai taba kila zuwa garin da kake ba. Saboda haka takarda kadai zai gani ya gamsu ka Iya Sana'ar ko kana kasuwancin.

Na biyu ita Gwamnati duk abinda zata yi tana yi ne don habaka tattalin arziki. Shi kuma habaka tattalin arziki jigo shine karuwar haraji. Saboda haka, duk wanda za a ba tallafi, so ake yi ya habaka, ya dauki wasu aiki, ya kuma rika biyan haraji. Idan yana haka, zai gamsar da Gwamnati abu 2:.

MAILAFIYA'S MARKET STORIES

Nigeria is lucky that the electorate did not consider him fit to lead this country at a time when unity, understanding and patriotism is ever needed.

Dr Obadiah Mailafiya who was the ADC presidential candidate in the 2019 presidential election, polled less than half of one percent of the total of 82 million votes cast.

As it tuned out, it was a great decision by Nigerians. His true colour manifested Monday, this week, when he lied to the nation on a radio programme that some former Boko Haram members told him "one of the Northern Governors is a commander of the Boko Haram in Nigeria."

He however recanted the claim when he was invited by the DSS to tell them who it was and instead, apologised profusely, according to the DSS spokesperson. 

In a BBC interview yesterday, he claimed that he got the story about a Northern Governor being commander of Boko Haram "from some Fulani traders in the market." 

It is sad that a so-called Oxford educated researcher and seasoned financial administrator could stoop so low to spread fake news that is as dangerous as it is inciting.

It is a national tragedy that someone who the country holds in high esteem like Mailafiya would resort to religious bigotry and ethnic jingoism to boost his standing in the eyes of those he fancy to impress.

I cannot think of any credible Nigerian that would concoct a lie and, when cornered, would try to save face by telling another big, unconvincing lie that he heard the story in the market. As if he is the kind that goes to the market and mingle with the locals. 

Dr Mailfiya has woefully failed in his plot to sow the sead of hatred between Northern minorities and the Hausa/Fulani. No amount of mischief and the spread of malicious lies would succeed. Not even from an Oxford Ph.D graduate in market stories and gossips.
